Of all the nonsensical things that have been written about the republican primary this piece of propaganda by Daniel Henninger may be the worst.
First, when Newt Gingrich attacked Romney's record at Bain Capital the party line was that an attack on Romney was an attack on capitalism.  Now, Henninger argues that anything good that happened in the 80's should be credited to Bain Capital.  It is so over the top as to be comical.  What is still missing is any actual defense of what Romney did at Bain. On Ampad he paid $5 million for a company, levered it up, took out $100 million, and then the company was liquidated and the creditors and investors took a bath.  I'd like to know why Romney thinks that is a good model for the economic recovery of America.
